The name Hotsy Totsy may sound whimsical, but it has a fascinating origin rooted in the Prohibition era. Legend has it that Hotsy Totsy was the nickname of Jack 'Legs' Diamond's lovely female partner, who played a pivotal role in the success of their speakeasy bar. This notorious duo's story is intertwined with the hustle and glamour of 1920s New York, and it is this rich history that inspired us to name our bar after them. At Hotsy Totsy, we strive to capture the elegance and vibrancy of that era, offering our guests a truly unique and unforgettable experience.
