Our Story
Hotsy Totsy was born eight years ago from a shared dream between three friends who wanted to bring a true speakeasy to the heart of Budapest. Inspired by the charm of the 1920s and the art of classic cocktails, they set out to create a space where quality drinks, great stories, and unforgettable nights come together.What started as a passion project quickly became a favorite hideout for locals and travelers alike.

This summer, we’re raising the bar. Literally. On Wednesday, June 26, two of the most respected names in Croatia’s cocktail scene are joining us for a one-day takeover at Hotsy Totsy Budapest.

At Hotsy Totsy, we embrace spontaneity. No reservations are necessary—just walk in and enjoy! If you’re planning a private event, we offer the Hudson private room, perfect for smaller groups, or you can rent the entire bar for a more extensive gathering. Contact us for more details.
To ensure the best experience for all our guests, we only serve seated patrons. If all our seats are taken, we can’t accommodate standing guests. We believe that crowding the bar detracts from the enjoyment of our carefully crafted cocktails and unique atmosphere. If we’re full, we kindly ask you to visit us another time.
